This is usually 50 people in up that the permit is very good for the public beach. A wedding permit on the beach is useful in that you can have your arch, your chairs, Tiki torches, and a runner and then you do not have to worry about any problems with the municipality. You can have a nice wedding on the beach and keep it under a grand or rather $1000 or a "grand wedding". Sunrise and sunset times in Florida.
The time of the year and the time of day are both very important things to consider when you are having a Florida beach wedding. Florida basically has three seasons hot, hotter and warm and a few days that are cool. The cool season is usually the winter months when it is freezing cold up North and everyone comes to Florida to get married and make a vacation out of it. Wintertime beach weddings are very popular for people from up North, these are known as snowbirds. The heat is not the only thing to consider for the weather on your wedding day. Rain is also a factor that you need to take into consideration. Rain on your wedding day is considered good luck, if you're superstitious. Usually the rain does not last all day sometimes we only get an afternoon shower and it blows over quickly. If this happens I can work with you and we can do the wedding a little early or little later. It is also good to have a plan B. in case it rains with the shelter or at the hotel. Smaller groups of people and wedding guests, usually one or two dozen people, are easier to work with and plan for a wedding than are larger groups. One has to worry about parking at the beach as well as and a multitude of other things to consider for the wedding ceremony at the venue.From spring time until late fall Florida is usually hot and hotter and it is not advisable to have a wedding on the beach during the heat of the day. One can get heat stroke as a bride did, I warned her about noon weddings...! You make up will also melt ladies in the heat from the mid-day weddings. Sunrise beach weddings are much better for the heat and beating the suntan crowds.If you want to have a beach wedding in sunny South Florida I usually suggest early mornings or later in the evenings to avoid the midday sun. One of the other considerations you have to give when you're getting married on the beach in Florida is the outside elements.
When you're getting married by the water on the Atlantic Ocean at the seashore you usually have to contend with a great deal of wind. Some days the wind is much calmer than on others. If you're going to get pictures of your wedding and the bride is spent a great deal of time on her hair I would suggest you get some pictures before you go down to the beach. The public beach parks almost always have some nice trees and greenery with landscaping that makes a nice backdrop for pictures.
Once the bride and the groom get down to the beach for the wedding ceremony the pictures will be what they will be with messy hair and all. I have performed weddings at five star hotels, country clubs and at other formal places and occasions. About eight years ago over half the weddings I performed were inside formal weddings at upscale wedding venues. Beach weddings were about slightly less than half of all the weddings I would perform at this time.
With the downturn of the economy and with unemployment as high as it is it now seems that about 90% of the weddings I perform our beach weddings.Public speaking is a very important attribute to have when you're performing a wedding ceremony. I was a computer science and business major while I was in college. I was required to take speech while I was in business school and that one class has been the most useful class that I ever took while in college. I have addressed groups of people as large as 350 people and I'm certainly not afraid of public speaking. I like to consider myself a professional and I will be on time barring traffic and equipment breakdown. I will dress appropriately with a suit and tie, if requested or I can wear something somewhat more Casual with beach attire. One does not want the wedding officiant to be overdressed over and above what the groom is wearing. But neither should the wedding officiant be under dressed and they should not be wearing shorts and sandals and a Tommy Bahama shirt, if the groom is wearing a tuxedo.
