There are many great places for wedding pictures at Mounts. They also have a gazebo which is covered for nice shade and is perfect for a smaller wedding and it also has electrical power for wedding music. If someone needs electricity for a microphone and a sound system, the gazebo would make a good choice and is a great place for a wedding location. The wedding gazebo also has a degree of privacy in the back of the gardens.

The garden areas are very large and it would take a large portion of a day to see the entire garden. Wedding photography would have a lot to work with in the way of a nice backdrop and background for nature outdoor pictures.

Mounts Botanical Garden is open to the general public from Monday through Saturday and they open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. and they are also open on Sundays from noon - 4 p.m.

Can you see the wading bird at the edge of the lake? This is a good overview of the natural setting of Mounts and it is green all year long, even in the winter. The wintertime is perfect for warm weather outdoor weddings and you do not need a coat to stay warm, you wear a coat and tie only for the formal wedding attire that you wear.

• Mounts Gardens is proud to display many tropical plants, both fruit-bearing and non-fruit-bearing Trees and plants. They also offer subtropical plants from all over the six continents from the world. Florida plants that are native to the local area are featured as well as exotic trees, herbs, citrus trees as well as palm trees from which Palm Beach Island gets its name.  A ship carrying coconuts was shipwrecked during a storm and the coconuts floated and landed on Palm Beach Island and took root and grew and that was how Palm Beach was to get its name.

Mounts is part of the Palm Beach County Cooperative Extension Service. They are affiliated with the UF or rather the University of Florida. Mounts prides themselves with being a place that you can go to network with and plug into information with local Extension Horticulturists. They also work with the Master Gardeners program as well as the Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Program locally. You have university trained botanists and professional horticultural staff to advise you on plants for your enjoyment.

Mounts' botanical gardens with their associated botany programs attempt to provide the very best in horticulture information that is available in South Florida. Many do not know that South Florida has a unique tropical environment and with its local unique plants and flora it has its own ecosystem. Mounts carries local landscaping plantings that thrive in the local ecosystem and is great for xeriscape and low water usage and conservation with its own natural beauty.

There are many trees and flowering plants in Mounts Gardens. The tropical flowers are many and varied and not something you would see in the northeast part of the US. Mounts garden weddings

The only problem with the garden is that it is a bit close to the airport and sometimes you get an occasional plane overhead. You can pause the wedding ceremony until the aircraft passes overhead.
