You can have an unusual wedding at the base or the top of the Jupiter Lighthouse. The top of the lighthouse has a Spectacular view and you can see many miles. The lighthouse was finished being built in 1860. It is over 100 feet tall and is almost 150 feet above sea level. The base of the lighthouse has a built in arch and I have performed several weddings there.

The couple were nervous and  talked to each other during the ceremony and that is fine as it is their wedding day.

This is 105 feet above the ground at the top of a 60 foot hill. The weather could have been nicer and the sky bluer, but still this is a beautiful view from the top of the Lighthouse in Jupiter. You can see Jupiter Island from the top of the lighthouse. The top only holds about eight people or maybe a few more or less. It is not very big at the top of the lighthouse and you need to be in good shape to climb the stairs all the way to the top near the light. A Jupiter photographer is available for family pictures and weddings as a speciality.

The Loxahatchee River Historical Society is under contract with the US Coast Guard and operates the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum.

Visitors are always welcome and they can climb the lighthouse tower to the top. Bring your walking shoes and lose the heels ladies.

The Loxahatchee River separates Palm Beach County and Jupiter Island, fl as it feeds into the Atlantic Ocean. You have great access to the Sea from this river and the Jupiter inlet. This is the view you can see from your wedding. Jupiter has an island and has beachfront access for a beach wedding. If you do not care for the lighthouse, you can get married on the beach in Jupiter, Florida.

Jupiter and Juno, Florida has many public parks with beaches available for your wedding. Jupiter also has a civic center hall that is used for wedding receptions all the time after the nuptials. There are two great restaurants across the water from the Lighthouse for the reception dinner for the family and guests after the wedding ceremony is over. One of the restaurants is a crab house style seafood place and I had dinner there and the dinner was great.
