South Florida Wedding Venues - Singer Island

The Resort at Singer Island by Marriott

This is The Marriott Resort at Singer Island and I would say that this is a four to a four and one half star resort. It is the newest hotel on Singer Island, Florida. Staying at the place where you will have your wedding is very Convenient. There is a great advantage to having your wedding and reception in the same venue and location.

It would not matter if you wanted a wedding by the pool under the gazebo or on the beach. If you want an outdoors wedding and the weather is poor, one can move the wedding ceremony inside to the reception area at the hotel. This hotel is on beachfront property and is right on  the Atlantic Ocean. You can walk from your room and out of the lobby right to your wedding on the beach or by the pool at the gazebo.

This hotel is located in the South Florida area of Palm Beach County and is located just north of Palm Beach Island. This Hotel is officially called The Resort at Singer Island is just 15-30 minutes North of the Palm Beach International Airport or PBIA and very close to West Palm Beach, Fl. As of 2010 this hotel is about 3 years old and is  contemporary and modern in design. I would say this is one of the five finest hotels in Palm Beach County, Fl. This hotel is located on the beach  and has a nice Ocean front view from many of the rooms.

There is a public beach park called Ocean Reef Park and it is run by Palm Beach County right next door to the resort for those small intimate weddings that are not large enough for using the resort's facilities.

This is what the hotel looks like from the Atlantic Ocean and the beach. I took this shot close to sunset on the beach after I performed a wedding there. I am very impressed with the level of service with the staff at the Resort at Singer Island and the food is very good for the wedding reception dinner. I was invited to the wedding reception after performing the wedding and had a very nice dinner there. The food is first class. The wedding coordinator did a fine job with the decorations and the dance floor.

This is what the room for the reception dinner looks like and was used for a medium sized wedding of about 50-60 wedding guests. I thought the wedding decor was very nice at the resort at Singer Island.

This is the dinner table for the wedding reception and I just love the way the hotel decorated this table.

Wedding arch

This decorated bamboo wedding arch was placed on Singer Island. I can set up this arch with your choice of colors for your wedding. You must be cautious placing a wedding arch on the beach at certain times of the year due to turtle nesting season. One does not want to get into trouble disturbing turtle eggs as they are considered an endangered species.
Wedding gazebo

This is the Wedding gazebo at the Resort at Singer Island and is used for outside weddings. You also have the choice of availability of using the resort's beach and the Atlantic Ocean as your wedding venue.

This and the wedding gazebo are located near the pool area outside in the patio area at the resort.
Ocean Reef Park of Singer Island

Ocean Reef Park in next door to the Resort at Singer Island and is run by Palm Beach County public parks. I have performed many beach weddings there and they have good parking and lifeguards on duty. They are open sunrise to sunset. You can walk from the resort to the public beach park for your wedding. Palm Beach County maintains the public park to very high standards. I suggest this public beach park for your beach wedding or any beach theme event. There are many nice places for taking pictures in the park and by the water.

Weddings on the beach

These waves are crashing into the rocks on the beach from the Atlantic Ocean by Singer Island, near Ocean Reef beach Park. It was very windy and the waves were very strong that day as this bride and groom had their morning wedding on the beach in South Florida. The sun and lighting for a morning wedding can be very harsh and does not always make for good pictures. This couple insisted they wanted a morning wedding for their special day. I always suggest either early sunrise or close to sunset as the perfect lighting for photography for the beach weddings.

I love evening sunset weddings on the beach next to the Palm Tree's and close to and right next to the beach by the sea and the Atlantic Ocean. This entire area is very good for a beach wedding in South Florida and is very wedding friendly as of this writing. I suggest that you give us a call and see what we can do for your wedding.
